okay guys i found the problem and fixed it. There was a aluminium piece pushing on the fan. I bent it back wih a screwdriver and now all fans spin up properly

I would consider 73C a very high temp, Its probably a good idea to contact gigabyte and get a replacement fan sent out or a RMA

How is 73*C high temp on 1080ti? My EVGA FTW3 goes above 70*C constantly with an agresive fan curve.

so i just installed my aorus gtx 1080 ti and i notice that with even a custom fan curve, one of the three fans wont turn on even under load with 73°C, is it dead or will it only ramp up at higher temps?

Try to play with fan curve more. (Are you using MSI Afterburner or Gigabyte software)?

Sorry, I just figured 73C was pretty high, Although i do have a 5850 which gets to about 60C under full load. Maybe it's just me
