Acceptable Graphics Card Temps

I just want to know what a 'safe' temperature for a graphics card is. My Sapphire Vapor-X 7950 has pretty loud fans so I usually have them set to around 40% but it causes my card to run at about 75 degrees C in game. I know that higher temps will shorten the life of cards but is 75 ok?

acceptable in my opinion is 80 and below

My 780 will not get above 80C.  It'll run at 60C at full load if I have the fans going at max. (which is about 4000 RPM)
