So I am buying some new parts to replace my old computer. I only need to buy a CPU, ram, GPU, and motherboard. I would like the overall buy to be a little conservative but having a Nvidia 1060 with 6GB is somewhat of a must. Hopefully my current PC parts are visible on my account. Thanks much for any input! Also if you think my decision is not wise, I am happy to listen to why it is a bad choice.

4790K, some more RAM, keep motherboard, RX 580 (if you can even get one) or GTX 1060 6GB should do.

I don't think it would be that much of a worthy upgrade unless you were to get a r7 processor or high end i7. I'd stick to the 4690k, overclock if you haven't yet, grab more ram, get a 240-480 gb ssd boot drive windows+some games, and get the rx 580 if in stock (if not go for 1060)
