Air Conditioner cooling ???!!

Found from 9gag, is it legit method ? will it built up moisture or can A/C gives dry cool air ?

I mean... it might work, but it's not ideal.

plus, those temps aren't insanely good for idle - they're good, but not mind bending

A/Cs should have a dehumidifier so the air should still be relatively dry. I would much rather just blow the AC at the machine, vs sending a tube directly into the intake...

just having a ac in your room will help putting a pipe would just make it work faster though you'd get the same effect if you just left the AC on let them room be cooled

AC inherently dehumidify (they were actually invented for that purpose) so yes, it will be cool dry air.

There should be no issues. Highly populated server rooms rely on air conditioning for cooling.

I would make sure the duct is insulated or that the cooler air being blown out isn't exposed to higher exterior temps otherwise you'll see condensation very quickly.

 

It would only help if the AC is actually running though...otherwise you're just  really making a long route for air to be sucked in normally.

that's so inefficient, lugnut up and switch to phase change cooling for some real cooling power
