Please review and help. Cooling for Ryzen CPU

keavlar

Hey every one.

I will tell the truth , i don't have time to check one by one of the cooling to know, if they support the new Ryzen CPU .

I have the next shop with open page on the cooling systems for CPU , on english.

The way i looked , only 3 of the cooling systems, are support the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X 3.6GHz AM4, or any other of that serial .

I will appreciate if you could take a look , and confirm my suspicious regarding that . (Confirm that there is non of a good systems for the CPU , and it will not be overclocked . )

http://en.ksp.co.il/?select=1066..182&store=shipment

Thanks to every one in advance.

I have a Ryzen 5 1500x, and a corsair H100i v2. Corsair was kind enough to send me a AM4 bracket for free. It is more than enough cooling for it. Price would be the only consideration at just over $100 US.

I'd say all or almost all of biggest brands in cooling provide AM4 bracket for free. Some, like Corsair, have a shipping fee. They require invoice/receipt of purchase of cooler and CPU/mobo to prevent misuse. Unless said in store page, cooler doesn't have bracket in package. Really rare to have such since its still pretty new platform.

From those available coolers Hyper 212X and 612, U14S (if it fits your case), D14 (if it fits with your RAM), D15/D15S (again with case restrictions). I haven't looked into Arctic or Zalman coolers so I don't know how their socket support or performance compares.

I called corsair, and they gave me a coupon code for the bracket free, with free shipping. That was shipped domestically though, and don't know if it would apply to shipping to Israel. I'm not certain, but I think the code was CORSAIR AM4. I'm sure if you were to call or chat with their support team they could help. But I'm sure any good company would do the same, be it Noctua, Be Quiet, CoolerMaster etc.

ETA:

They did not require a proof of purchase or receipt when I called. I purchased my H100i at BestBuy, price matched to a sale on B&H online if I remember correctly. Ended up getting it for less than $105 after taxes.
