Looking in to buying a Nintendo Switch but is it worth it?

Maybe not the scratch, if it was just that, but the loose trigger, yes.

To me it all comes down to this, which console / platform has the games that you want to play? Are you just getting the Switch for Zelda and some other games that are supposed to come out in Winter? Or do you like the majority of the games for the system and can see yourself playing them for a long time. On the other hand, a PC, while not nearly as portable, will give you a basically unlimited selection of games, even if your computer isn't that powerful. (Basically any games with a pixel 2d design will run on even an old MacBook Air from my experience.) Hope this helps you!
