Razer Core through usb-type c

Hey guys!

 

I really wanna get an external GPU for my MSI GE62 6QC so i can play some of the new titles coming up.

I saw a lot of e-GPU's that are using thunderbolt 3.

I got a usb type c on mine and im not sure if the Razer Core will work through my USB - type C. 

Does anyone know if its gonna work?

 

(Its a USB 3.0)

No, it needs to be thunderbolt 3 type C, not USB type C.

What can the 960m not run anyways?  Also, a r5 1400 +RAM + case + mobo + psu is actually cheaper than a core (and the cpu would be better than your laptops cpu) so if you have the budget for a core + gpu of your choice you could actually just build a pc.
