Worn out mouse switches

Hi I have a Zowie EC1 eVo, I love this mouse but the side buttons just aren't what they used to. When I click one in lightly and I hear the click nothing will happen. If I press the click in all the way it will either click or double or triple click. Both of these side buttons do this I was thinking it was the switches being worn out. I've heard of people repairing switches on their mice but how do I know what switches I should get? Or is this an entirely different problem?

Disassemble and then clean out the insides 

 

while doing that see if you press the switch itself, does it have the same problem? If so then you need to replace that (I don't know if it's replaceable), and if just cleaning it solved it then..

its probably worn out. had a razer naga and after about 7 years, the left click started double clicking stuff. cleaned it a dozen times in a month. no luck. one trick was to blow really hard into the gaps, which made it work properly for a few days then it started double clicking again. just got a new mouse. replacing the worn out part is hard. the parts are really small. and i didnt know if i was gonna break the damm thing trying to pry it open. too much trouble, got a new mouse.
