PC wont turn on!

iiEmpathy

Hello everyone,

Today when I went to turn on my PC nothing happened at all, I checked the power cable to see if it maybe it was faulty, but I tried another power cable and it still doesn't turn on.

Strange enough the light for my gaming mouse still works even though the PC won't turn on.

nothing happening is usually a sign of a loose connection.

- is the switch on the back of the PSU flipped to the on position

- are your 24pin and eps cables connected firmly. if you have a modular PSU, make sure they are connected on both sides

- is your power button connected correctly? try shorting the pins out manually with a screwdriver

Alternatively, if you have one of those $20 PSU testers, you can test individual cables and make sure power is being delivered appropriately.
