PC is slow?

If you have 241gb of files then yes. You will need to look up how to do it properly so the OS still works (unless you already know how).

Although in reality your O/S and high end games are the only files that really "need" the SSD's speed.  Other files such as word docs and music and such can remain on your current HDD

  • CPU
    i7 6700k overclocked to 4.7 GHZ @1.38v
  • Motherboard
ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero Alpha
  • RAM
    32GB Gskill Ripjaws @3200mhz
  • GPU
    ASUS ROG Geforce 980
  • Case
    CoolerMaster HAF X
  • Storage
500 GB SSD and 12TB mechanical HDD some soon to be split to NAS
  • PSU
    EVGA 1000 G1

That is unless you only have the one free SATA port.

That's not slow at all for an HDD... Is that really your issue? You can try to optimize your PC so you get better performance in general but those start times are fine.
