Go to solution Solved by Daniel Z.,

Sk Hynix SL308 in 250gb. MX300 is good too

I want a 120gb-250gb SSD for  my OS and a few games.

Budget: ~$75

Not sure what the best deal is at the moment.

That's the best performance.

Not the best deal.

it's hard to find them for $75, but I have @Droidbot's SSD tier list in my sig, so you can check that, and try to get the highest tier.

Thanks for the help. Looks like 99.99 is kind of the magic number when it comes to decent capacity and performance drives.

Take a look at Crucial MX300 275 GB or 850 EVO 250 GB. The difference is performance but Crucial has good value for strange capacities just like @Droidbot said.

If you think these are over your budget then take a peek at this list :

Do you have any thoughts on this SK hynix SSD? I've never heard of them before.

SK hynix - SL308 250GB

Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB
