Windows OEM Keys

So are COEM and OEM keys tied to the motherboard? Because I just used the same OEM key twice for different systems and they both worked.

i have not tested OEM keys, but I did get to test academic keys. My third activation on the same day in virtual machine got my key banned/rejected.

Depends on Windows version. Win7 and older aren't so tense with them as Win8 and up.

Yup, I'm on 3rd mobo with 7 HP. Though some branded OEMs (from laptops and prebuilds) are still mostly bound to mobo.
