Long time stalker, first time poster. Is 400 bucks for a GTX Titan X Max 12gb a good deal?!?!

For $400, no. If you were getting it for $300, I'd say "turn it and make a buck by selling".

while it may not be worth it, it does indeed beat a 1070 in terms of performance. not by a lot, though

13700k, 3070, 32GB@3200
