Right now 1 Ethereum takes around 700TH (Trillion Hashes) and is worth $388 (and rising).

Last time I checked (which was a day or two after starting) the rate was around 29MH/s. I don't know if that's good or not. I'm likely going to stop mining at the end of June since I honestly have no idea about these cryptocurrencies.

I'm seeing around 29MH/s on one 480 after tweaking.

 

Then again AMD cards have been better at raw compute since forever.

You can sign up at like Coinbase for the US to cash out eth to paypal.

The wallet I use allows for transfer to Bitcoin. Apparently it's easier to transfer BTC to a bank account but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

I am pretty sure anyways. I think I created my coinbase account through mist. Coinbase also allows transfer between eth and btc.

I'd assume so. It uses debit/credit cards for pay in and paypal for payout. Canada seems to be supported at least.

Also gotta figure out how to go from paypal to my bank. Hmm

Same as when you add money to Paypal. You transfer from your Paypal to your bank's checking account.

For paypal if you don't have your bank setup you provide them with the info routing/acc # and then they send test transactions. Then after it is confirmed you just click transfer to bank. Assuming it is similar to the US.

The one thing I hate about Mist is that you have to download the entire blockchain though it's useful for a cold-wallet.

Yeah I hate that I have to download the whole chain especially because it never ever wants to connect to peers. So I'm stuck in the waiting for blocks state even though I already have 18GB worth of blockchain files.

Check the model number of your AC unit and look up the powerdraw and then add the wattage to the profitability calculator and the electricity cost. For example, say your AC unit draws 450 watts and your computer system draws 400 watts. You would put the total wattage in as 850 watts, put the power cost at 0.12 (round up), put in the hashrate of your card (I believe the RX 480 gets 28-29 MH/s)  and then check how much you would make.

EDIT: Would still make money even if that much power were being used by the AC unit, just wouldn't be super spectacular.
