anyone know how i could overclock my laptop cpu, or if its even possible its a 6200h with 8gb ram

Two reasons why you can't overclock a laptop:

 

1.) Nine times out of ten, you just can't.

2.) It's a horrible idea. Laptop coolers are designed to prevent thermal throttling with stock settings, and usually not much more.

my cpu thermal throttles anyway.. so does the discrete graphics

Standard clocks are literally all most consumer grade laptops can sufficiently cool, as manufactures tend to sacrifice for acoustics & form factor, therefore they allow moderate thermal throttles to happened in order for such. I wouldn't advise it either even if you had headroom since it is not worth for that specific CPU really.
