first timer, looking to better my future build

This will be my first build, I was hoping to get it between 600-800 but a bit over is fine, as its kinds necessary. My requirements are excellent airflow (my room has crap for ac and is very hot during the summer) and I would like to be able to run almost all current games at ultra 60fps while recording or streaming. I guess secondary to that is a good look, haven't thought much about color theming yet, so that's completely open. If you have any tips on what part would work better while still being around the same price, or where a fault could happen in the build, please let me know. If you have any experience with these parts over a long period of time, let me know thoughts please.

I currently have 2 options:

- mobo doesn't have enough case fan pins and I think overall doesn't fit what I need

- haven't done as much research on this GPU and ram stick (I do know that EVGA does a good job tho)

 

Thanks in advance, any help means a great deal to me. last time I dumped money into a quad copter and while I did research I never personally consulted anyone with experience, and lets just say it doesn't fly.

oh and that NZXT case, how is its airflow? someone who is currently using it says its pretty good but that I should add a fan (in build already)

The card on the second one is fine. EVGA is one of the best Nvidia card makers out there, followed by MSI (don't get the Armour Oc though, its cooler is terrible. The rest are awesome though, especially the Gaming X series). Gigabyte is fine as well, but I've heard they use more plasticky stuff.

A 7700k falls behind the r5 1600 while streaming.

The 1600 has an extra 2 cores making is better for streaming and encoding.

@herman mcpootis yes one is required, not to bad of a build at first glance, however like I said I don't know that the mobo will suit my needs, have a mid atx build? you could save some money on that ram and SSD

that mobo will be fine, you only need one 16x slot for the gpu and a 1x slot for the wifi card, i doubt you'll add in anymore expansion cards.

@herman mcpootis is their even enough space between the wifi cards slot to fit? seems a bit close to the where the GPU will sit

it's gonna fit, the wifi adaptors at the $30 price range are all single-slot without any big heatsink to block the gpu.

one issue I have with AMD is they run hot, which is an issue for my conditions, I have also heard some issues about long in use. however being able to stream better is a big plus. how well would the i5 do?

seasonic's lower-wattage M12's are good(albeit old), still quite reliable now.

ryzen doesn't run hot at all, stock cooler alone is enough to overclock the 1600 to 3.8ghz just fine. the i5 would be on-par for gaming but worse for streaming.

@herman mcpootisokay, the asrock also only has 2 case fan pins I can find. and I was worried the GPU would block it, instead of the other way around. il look around at the ryzen. if I decided to go your mini route I'm going to change the case purely for style reasons and then figure out airflow then.

the gpu won't block the fan connectors, they're located too far away from where the gpu would be at. you can use fan splitters, molex connectors or get a fan controller to make up for the few fan connectors.

To be honest I'd just go with @herman mcpootis build, at least as a starting point, it's pretty solid. You can always use whatever case/mobo/ram/gpu you think looks best and is within your price range, but as is it's a pretty good.
