Honestly I would normally say go with a 580 if that is your price range or go nvidia of you have a bigger budget. The only problem is that with the bitcoin mining craze themail stock if all amd gpus has been kinda crap lately leading to high prices so depending on pricing the gtx 1060 might actually be the better deal. This is totally dependant on if the prices are still messed up though.

not really a low budget so I'm not restrecting that rn. Most likely 1440p and I play BF4, GTA V, and overwatch and beamng.drive. but i do plan on getting into more games and streaming. I dont get what you mean by what side im in rn

rx580 8GB/gtx 1060 9Gbps>gtx 1060 6GB/rx 480 8GB > rx 480 4GB > gtx 1060 3GB / rx 570 4GB > rx 470 > gtx 1050 Ti > gtx 1050 > RX 460/560

Well if you are going for 1440p you will want a gtx 1070. I would say wait for vega but at this point who knows when that will be.

for 1440p you should consider GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 or wait a bit and see how Vega does (most leaks doesn't show anything promising however)
