intel i5 3330 in motherboard

hey ive just seen a intel i5 3330 for really cheap and i need an upgrade, i am currently running a pentium. Only problem is the motherboard i have (ASRock H97M Anniversary), everywhere ive looked says that i wont support it. Is there anyway around this or can i just run it?

also the socket is 1155 for the cpu and 1155 for the motherboard so they match

the socket for that mobo is 1150 and that cpu is 1155, they do not match

The h97 is actually a 1150 socket, the i5 3330 will not work with it

 

how much is the i5? u can find many 1150 i7s just under 200 used in the US, and many i5 1150s under 150 ised

No, it wont physically fit (Do not attempt to force it, it will break). 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.
