Cheapest 1440p monitor with vesa

Ildiesalot

Hey everyone! I'm going to be picking up a x34 at some point which is 3440x1440p, and eventually I would like to put portrait 1440p monitors on both sides. These won't be used for gaming, mostly for reading/coding/maybe an occasional video, so they don't need to be really good monitors, but they do need to be vesa compatible.

I was originally looking at this, but I don't believe the newer models have vesa mounts.

Any suggestions?

Before you buy.

If you plan on using G-Sync on the x34 at 100Hz then good luck with using Borderless/Windowed mode in games when running secondary 60Hz monitors.

It will work but games will stutter like crazy and drop to inconsistent 60FPS.

Really? This is not an issue that I was aware of.

I was not aware of that as well until I purchased my G-Sync monitor. After talking to NVIDIA support they told me "It is by design" so ... :/

Makes using multiple monitors really cumbersome (either disable G-Sync or play on FullScreen and ALT+TAB from games to not have this issue).

Can't he just run the Game in fullscreen?

60hz monitors on the sides, and x34 in the middle and play games in fullscreen.

Won't that then make G-sync 100HZ work with the x34?

Or does enabling G-Sync slow it down because of the other two monitors?

For easy explanation just watch this video I posted for troubleshooting to NVIDIA.

(sorry for my terrible pronunciation :D )

Basically, the issue is only when there is anything causing any animation on the lower Hz monitor so as I showed in the video, YT for example.

Well these monitors wouldn't be in use much while gaming. If I'm watching youtube while playing a game I plan on running it on a separate monitor connected to my server. The monitors are going to be mostly for typing/reading/coding/school work and whatnot.
