I would bet that your local used website(Kijiji, Craigslist) or even ebay has a used/new rx580 for cheaper.

 

Also, i would look into getting a used 980ti if you save up a lil bit.

If you have Freesync I would get the AMD Card...  in Fact it simply makes no sense under these circumstances going Nvidia if you have freesync.

The 980 ti is still a beast of a card, only really being outperformed by the 1080 and 1080 ti.

Its just I literally ordered all the important parts except for 2 case fans that i can install later, headphones, and a cpu cooler which will ship super quick. Im not worried about returning a defective part cause i have half a month, im just to eager to build my pc

In fact having just  read a review where the buyer had downgraded from a 980ti to a RX480 with a Freesync monitor I definitly go with searching the internet for a 580.

Wow I see Amazon selling them for a boatload... Way more than they are worth... So I went through the same thing with the 1080ti, when I was building my Ryzen rig.  All I can suggest is you keep checking Amazon and Newegg every two to three hours.  I found my 1080ti at about 1 in the morning on Amazon ordered it and by the next evening it was out of stock.

the rx 580 and gtx 1060 perform about the same but the rx 580 is stronger in Dx12 games. I'd wait for the rx 580 to be in stock.

they cost 350 bucks. I could get a 1070 for that money.
