why are you buying a mech keyboard and now an SSD when you still have that system?

Sata 2 - 3Gbps meaning you will see a maximum of 280mbps read/write under Sata 2 (depending on the actual quality of the SSD)

I have put a Sata 3 SSD in a Sata 2 capable laptop, MUCH improved over the stocker 5400rpm drive. Effectively turning the laptop boot time into a faster desktop boot time equivalent.

Even 200mbps reading drives provide a substantial speedboost due to the instant access of SSD's compared to traditional HDD's.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
