Building a nice Gaming PC

tomasesp

* I'm a big gamer of online games such as World of Warcraft.

* I'm planing on spending min $1,000 or max $1,500 Dollars.

* I'm planing on buying most of these parts on "Black Friday" depending on price that day.

* I'm not planing on buy all the parts on my list if i find better parts for lower price that day.

This is what I would go for: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/26fMf

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor (good choice!)

Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S 55.0 CFM CPU Cooler (I quite personally don't like closed loop coolers, at least most of them because they have cheap plastic parts and overall cheap fans, but all your choice :) )

Mobo: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z ATX AM3+ Motherboard (I wont mess around with this lol )

RAM: A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory (far from needed but 2400mhz RAM is getting cheaper and cheaper and when DDR 4 comes out, you really want to feel like part of the pack)

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk (better than the 840, I have one and would never go to anything else!)

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (you really don't need a 2TB drive and you can always add another one later)

GPU: Asus Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card (Asus makes great cooling, and the 29 280x is by far better than the GTX 660, especially in an AMD build, but is more expensive)

Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case (super nice and quiet)

PSU: Silverstone Strider Plus 750W 80+ Silver Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (this is a higher end system and if you ever upgrade you can easily do it, I also like silverstone psus)

DVDRW: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer (I don't care to change this lol)

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

I like the parts you chose but for the CPU I'm trying to go with water cooling like my room floor is fully carpet.

I'm also aiming for a nice close CASE to prevent dust from building in it.

it would be just as dusty with a water cooler, I don't understand what you mean by a close case? but the Fractal Design Define R4 is uses allot.  This one is also popular case if you want to take a look at it http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-caph410g1
