The Phantom Pain GPU usage below 50%?

Gdourado

Hello, how are you?

Finally got a good promotion on the Phantom Pain and picked it up from Humble last week.

I started playing the game and I am enjoying it, but there seems to be something wrong.

My GPU usage sits between 35 and 45%.

I run the game maxed out at 1080p. My GPU is a 980ti.

The game is locked at 60fps and from what I can tell it runs 60 all the time. I don't notice any dips, but I am running a g-sync monitor.

Anyway, what's happening with this GPU usage?. Is it a bottleneck?

Anyone have this same issue?

Cheers and thanks.

As long as you're getting the visual results you want, there's no issue. The game runs really gorgeous on xbox one so I'm not surprised that a mid-high end PC like yours stomps on it.

I mean, the recommended GPU is a GTX 760. lol.

I don't, but the game locks itself to 60fps even without vsync. My monitor is 144hz.
