You can get them second hand for around £200 I think, but you can get a used 980ti for £250, I wouldn't get a 980 now.

you would be better off getting a 1050 or 1060 and just buy either the 4gb 1050 or the 3gb 1060. The new cards are way down in price compared to the older versions. Unless you need another one for a replacement so you can continue SLI.

That's not a good idea at all, 3gb of vram isn't really enough these days, and a 1050 is worse than a 980.

Bear in Mind that the 1050 is only 100 dollars and that there's a 6gb version of the 1060.

Just get a RX 580 unless your doing SLI.It's better than the 980 and 1060.

I was able to haggle a 980 ti which still performs very close with the 1070 for a buddy of mine for $210 US. You would be amazed how good a deal you can get if you shop used and just have the courage to ask for a better deal.

I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself

This is in the U.K. Not the us, we don't get deals like that, like ever.

He could probably get a 980ti for the price of a 8gb rx 580, and the 980ti is much better.
