Hello guys

A few months ago i installed AMD Overdrive to start overclocking i got my A10-6800K to 4,6Ghz stable. After a while i wanted to clean up my computer so i tried to delete AMD Overdrive but when i did that one of the files is unable to be deleted because it was open in some program, i tried to find the program but didn't find it so after i while i dind't bother anymore. A few days ago i started up my pc and i got an error message (and beeping sound) when it was loading its bios, so i just pushed the restart button on my case and everything whent fine after that but yesterday i tried to enter my bios (pressing del) and it shows me the same error message and sound (beeping), i tried several times but it always ended up in this way so i think my bios is gone. I also searched for a fix but didn't find any :(. I hope you guys can help me out.

Reset CMOS, restart PC and enter BIOS to change settings again to what you want.

The motherboard BIOS does not just disappear / uninstall.

It's not part of Windows, and on a separate physical chip ON the motherboard.

You need to find out what that error message says, or tell us the beep code (aka beep pattern).

The beep codes actually represent something:

...

1 long, 3 short --- Conventional/Extended memory failure (RAM)

...

1 long, 2 short -- Indicates a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information. (video card)

i don't know exactly how many times it beeps but apperently the error won't always show up when i try to enter the bios but when i find out i wil post it.

i think its the 5 times short beep because when the error message comes up it says CPU fan not responding while it does turn.

Why would you be screwed? resetting CMOS just resets BIOS settings to default. Then you should be able to enter BIOS straight after, in some of the newer BIOS/UEFI it goes straight into BIOS after resetting CMOS anyway... but a good rule of thumb is to mash the [del] button straight after pressing the start button. If it still won't do it after you've tried multiple times, it might be a problem with the USB port not recognising the keyboard early enough or soemthing, so try another USB port.
