Why no gddr4?

Ive seen gddr3 and gddr5, was there a reason why ive never seen gddr4, did it have soon game breaking problems or did technology go too fast

Because gDDR5 was too BOSS to be names as gDDR4 :)

impossible ddr4 came out this year

on gpus ddr3 was out way before ram dimms
