@RoyCS This ^

Gaming only no workstation, streaming, production or multitasking? 7700K

Gaming while streaming or doing workstation/production? R7 1700 (1700X and 1800X are factory overclocks that you can perform yourself, don't waste money on a simple OC)

1.) No BS, silent build (better choice imho):

CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15 SE-AM4 140.2 CFM CPU Cooler  (£74.99 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Asus - PRIME X370-PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard  (£134.98 @ Kustom PCs)
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory  (£280.02 @ More Computers)
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  (£136.74 @ Aria PC)

2.) Flashy RGB Build, aka the Herpes Build

Motherboard: Asus - CROSSHAIR VI HERO ATX AM4 Motherboard  (£225.60 @ Kustom PCs)

These Builds are within almost the same budget (+/- 100 pounds). You can go with Intel of course, but currently I would advice against it, unless Intel finally drops their prices, which I doubt will never happen so... Up to you :)

Looks pretty good to me, but maybe omit the 32gigs of ram for 16, since 32 is really Overkill and unnecessary in my opinion. The Money that is saved this way can be used on Windows 10 and an internal optical drive for the first, or an external drive for the second build. Other than that really nice builds, though I would downgrade the second builds mobo to a asus prime x370. Then again, It seems the second one was over the top on purpose (you did call it the "Herpes Build" lmao).

The Seagate Barracuda is a hard drive but there is a problem with your optical drive and your case.
