Is it worth it to buy a vintage lens (F2) for a canon 1300D for 30€? I can choose between 28mm and 135mm. My main objective is to get good AF, and is it better than the kit lens?

No you cant.

Your EOS 1300D uses the EF and EF-S mounts, as do all Canon cameras since 1987.

Before 1987, Canon used the FD mount, this means 2 things,

1. A "vintage" lens will not physically fit on your camera. You can overcome this with some chinese adapters off ebay, but they are just that, chinese adapters, Long story short, image quality will be significantly inferior than before.

2. FD lenses are basically glass and brass, there are no electronics in there whatsoever. Therefore, they have no AF motor or way to communicate with your camera. They are entirely manual, focus is exclusively manual and aperture is set on the lens through the aperture ring.

So no, you cant use vintage glass on your eos 1300d. As always google is tour friend, there are many articles on the subject online that will go more in depth.

I don't know how the adapters for Canon FD to Canon EF look but if they need glass in them I wouldn't adapt them. However if it is like on Sony E and you just need extension tubes with a different mount I'd reccomend adapting. However you won't get AF. Everything is manual focus only.
