The CPU shouldn't hit 100%, if it does you found the issue.

Neither component should always hit 100%. If something occurs that requires extra power, neither component will have the headroom to do so.

What? You want the graphics card at 100%. That means it's giving you everything it's capable of.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

OP you're using a workstation CPU to game, there's going to be issues unless you adjust your setting accordingly.

So one last time will feeling.

What game, what resolution, and what settings?

e3 are the xeon counterparts of the core series

And then it has to load another object and it won't have headroom to minimize the stutter [either through a boost to MHz or memory]. See plenty of that when using three monitors to game.

I think it may have to do with the speed of the CPU. BF1 and R6S have a great deal of single-threaded calculations that have to be performed such as local destruction and bullet penetration/trajectory.

Have you noticed the issue in MP, but not in SP?

Yes, at a lower clock speed. Most games still love high clock speeds.

Drop the shadow quality until your fps smooths out.

Not even in gun fights or shit little drop like to 70 fps on breaches but no just random

iN CSGO 69% max spike cpu and 100% gpu. csgo is a cpu whore which is why i tested it.

CSGO isn't that bad compared to games like Watchdogs 2, BF1, and other recent titles. If you start seeing your CPU utilization go over 90%, my advice is drop the settings to high that impact the CPU, others I completely turn off like godrays.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Actually more a 4690 with hyperthreading. From the vew of the silicon. Not picking on it, you just have to be realistic. I run a 1700X and know I'm limited by clock speed and use settings that offer the best stability.

Sure it does, but you're gaming. You're having issues. You have nothing to lose trying settings.

That's it in a nutshell. They're getting better, and with Ryzen games will surely improve the multi core optimization.
