I am logging into my apple ID account and I am required to enter my my password followed by the varification code, however I am not sure how to enter it. The code is displayed on my moms phone like "XXX XXX" I tried entering my password the the code right after without any spaces, didn't work, then tried right after the password with the space inbetween the sets of 3 digits and did not work.

it would say for example:

someone is trying to login to your apple id at this location (with a picture of a map)

click 'allow'

then after that a code should pop in

something like '947 883'

on your phone you exactly type in '947883'

if it doesnt work, try again

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

your iphone (or thing you're trying to login to your apple id)

apple id email: (type that here)

apple id password: (type that here)

something about 2fa on, enter in your code:

your mom's iphone (or thing that you have 2fa on) :

someone is trying to login to your apple id at this location (picture of map)

click allow

code:

something like: '938 737' displayed (with a ok prompt)

back to your iphone:

verification code:

type in exactly: '938737' (no space, just 6 numbers, space will auto fill in)

if you want i can provide screenshots..
