Are Gsync monitors worth it

So I tried the ULMB.

I really had no expectations but holy shit, it really is good. I though that I barely have any motion blur but after I enabled ULMB I was really surprised on how better the fast paced movements look.

 

That said, I can notice the difference between 120Hz and 165Hz so I am still not willing to trade that with G-Sync and 45Hz.

However, there is one scenario where I would trade G-Sync for it and that is on the 240Hz ASUS monitor that supports ULMB at 240Hz.

Also, outside of competitive games, the ULMB is not a big deal but I can see how much it can be a benefit in the competitive ones.
