Yeah, there is two kinds of ads I'm not ok with, the ones that pop up and follow your scroll, and those ads that move all around and ruin the look of the page.

I know Linus has never really pushed his advertising but I would love to see LTT grow big time and if a few small ads help thats cool with me.

I am all in for you cashing in.  I know you don't want to but you should sell stuff.  Or sell stuff through someone.  I wold love if you sold like a class 10 memory stick that i new would have good read/writes. or a Linus fan just for the lol's. There are so many small peripherals i think you could promote/sell to your advantage.

 

its not selling out if the stuff is good. 

 

How much add money do you think you will get?  unkline a normal website i think about 95-100% of the users know how to uses add block.

 

I have white-listed  my white list has like 3 company's on it! 

be warned if you do the full screen overlay adverts or the ones that get larger when you go anywhere near them i will be less than impressed.

I put no because I only support some ads.  I think actual affiliate links are great.  ads/pics and stuff from affiliates like amazon or foursquare or audible are great and cool, but "targeted" ads from things like google so they can put whatever they want into the ad pics I don't like that.

 

Basically ads Linusmediagroup keeps control over are good.

It supports Linus Media Group and the ads are relevant, then I see no problem

As long as the ads are relevant (only tech stuff) and are not flashing on the screen (gifs and stuff)........its all good. :)
