Hello everyone.

A couple of days ago i visited my cousin and saw that he had a really old computer (from 2006) and it seems that it takes ages to do daily tasks. My cousin doesn´t have a lot of money and I want to give him a Pc, so I am planning to build one, I am on a Budget but, i was thinking of something with an Intel Pentium or Intel i3, but i really don´t know what specs are good and cheap, that is why i would appreaciate your help in choosing the specs. Thanks for Reading!

does he play any games or use things like photoshop here and there or does he really just do internet searching and more of a casual work?

for not gaming pretty much anything is okay, if he games then you might want to get a decent i3 and preferably 8gb ram, but 4 will work if its just a budget basic workflow build

Some programs won't run unless you have 4 threads, that's why getting an i3 is better than getting a 2 core 2 thread CPU when you can

you do realize the g4560 is a 2 core 4 thread chip right ?

Like the i3 . the only thing the i3 has is a couple hundred more mhz and AVX .

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

Except your wrong in that the G4560 is a HT Dual core, exactly like the I3 is.

So again, your wasting money.
