Pc 3d print mods

Hi everyone,

Any ideas for 3d printing mods for a pc? I am planning on making things in fusion 3d and print them to use in my build. Case: nzxt h440, motherboard MSI Z270 gaming pro carbon.

Any ideas would be great!

For my PC i've made a witcher 3 medallion.

Temporarily on my wall however once I get time after my exams I'll do it.

I might try and made some stencils for spray painting: 

These are some that I've done for my skateboard. 

I'd recommend TPU for that if you want to form it to a shape on part of your PC.

 

You can always 3d print key caps: 

 

Was going to make an infinity mirror for the front panel but never got around to finishing that either: 

that was the general idea. 

 

Some other ideas to throw out there: Cable combs for cable management, I'm pretty sure there's a shit ton you can do. I met this guy in Birmingham and he's a great guy haven't watched this video but he did have some stuff that's he's made when he was at a show in Birmingham.

I was trying to design a front panel drawer but I never got around to making that as it took way too much filament. I've got a filament guide installed on my extruder and changing from TPU is a pain as it took me a long while to get right. I needed more retraction and could only get 1mm before it would start to bunch up, now I can easily have 3.5mm of retraction. Not perfect but sure makes it a lot less stringy. You could potentially print a power supply shroud too I guess perhaps an antisag GPU holder too? 

 

maybe a fan cover?

Goes over the fan probably not needed but could have a nice look to it I suppose.

I was considering 3D printing some motherboard armor, actually. 

 

Do you have experience with Fusion 360 or any other CAD program for that matter? If not, might I suggest you start with TinkerCAD. It's a browser-based CAD application that's relatively simple but very powerful in the right hands. I've done the last 10+ designs in TinkerCAD, and only used Fusion360 for my maker coin.
