Need a tech recommendation for school

What (prepare to cringe) LAPTOP is the best? I don't want to spend more that 300 and I want maximum performance.

I recommend the HP 15-F222WM

 

It has a Pentium processor, and a 500GB HDD that should be enough for you on the way.

 

But if you don't wanna waste space I really recommend google docs, slides, and sheets for most of your things. They automatically save, and very will probably never get lost.
