Posted May 22, 2017 Hello again! I'm currently in the project of building my friend a gaming PC for his game room, I wanted to go with an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU and my friend wanted to know if we could try water cooling it. Any suggestions? (I can go a bit over the budget)
Posted May 22, 2017 Aio or custom loop? I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself FULL PC SPECS ON PROFILE https://linustechtips.com/main/profile/454099-thinkfreely/
 Posted May 22, 2017 After the loop for GPU and CPU, you'd have maybe 650 for the PC, not worth it

Posted May 23, 2017 IMHO: Custom water cooling is not something you should be looking at if you're on a fixed budget. ---
Posted May 23, 2017 even with a EK-KIT S240 ($200) and adding a GPU block and fittings (~$100) you would only have $700 for the PC. EK kits would be a nice affordable starting point if you wanted a cutsom loop. You could do 2 AIO (1 CPU + 1 GPU for around ~$200 if you want to annoy me, then join my teamspeak server ts.benja.cc
