according to http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/ i require 425 watts psu and Cooler Master G550M 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply with Modular Molex/SATA Cables RS550-AMAAB1-US - Available at Amazon is recommended.

 

so if i put 750 W instead, will it give me problems or its good?

 

SUGGEST ME A POWER SUPPY FOR THE FOLLOWING PC SPECS :

asus gtx 1080 rog strix
2x8gb 2400mhz ram
gigabyte b250m motherboard
cooler master cluster 212x
i7 7700 @ 3.6Ghz
4x 120mm fans
cc 830 cabinet

 

maxxed out budget for PSU is 9500 INR

The Cooler Master calculator wildly overestimates how much power your system would ever use. What are the specs of the system you're using? Also, no, if you put a decent 750W unit in your system there would be no trouble.

For a 1080 and 7700 I'd recommend a Corsair RMx or EVGA G2/G3, 550W being fine. Not sure what that translates to in your currency but if you can afford both an i7 and 1080 then I should assume you'll be able to afford a decent unit.

The EVGA B3 and CX750M (part of the CXM grey variants, but the 750W and 850W are better than the rest) are comparable.
