If it's a non-stick pan, then technically it would be OK to just wipe off the excess grease and the burned food.

However, that's having a lot of faith in the non-stick ability of the pan.

Personally, I always wash my pans. It's no like it takes a long time to do, and then I'm sure my pans are always clean.

True

 

Some pans you can clean with a paper towel, I do it with teflon pans if its just oil. But othertimes its caked on mess and you need to soad it and scrub it.
