I can't install any drivers from AMD on my PC, it always shows error 1603.

My specs are:
AMD FX 6300 at 3.5GHZ

Radeon R7 370 2GB

8GB 1866MHZ RAM

I've already tried that, i am trying the minimal install now so i'll see if that works.

The minimal install gave the same error, and i'm now getting desperate.

Yeah and that is what I recommend. If you were on Windows 10 then you could easily do a reinstall without having to buy another product key but that isn't the case. Also, you're not the OP so do you have the same issue?

Oh, well like I said try a reinstall of Windows. You can get cheap product keys on eBay for £5 maximum so it isn't too expensive. You will have to download your preferred OS as an ISO before you can make install media for the reinstall.

In case anybody googles this up later - it's always the same crap; you need to revert your pics/docs/etc. folders to default. So, i.e., if you're running an SSD operating drive and HDD storage drive and set the default location for your My Documents et al. folders to the HDD, AMD hired idiots who made the installer on AMD settings dependent on something in those folders but is hardcoded to your Windows installation drive. You have to revert them all to install it. They will have you reinstalling Windows to fix it and will not hear anything to the contrary, and yet every thread about it ends up with the same answer and was the same for me.
