Don't get the 7350k, and don't spend that much on the motherboard in this build as it makes everything really unbalanced. I'd recommend getting a Ryzen 5 1600, B350 mobo +- 100$, don't get the green label CX units, go with a EVGA G2/3, grey label CXM or even better an RMx unit, and lastly get the SSD now and expand with a HDD later. That way you don't have to reinstall windows, and you will have a much better experience out of the box. OS, Case and cooler are up to you.

Awesome thanks for all the replays, are there any draw backs to useing a AMD rather then Intel cpu ?

i will be doing light coding for java other than that is there any reason people don't like to use AMD over intel ?

Sorry for the noob questions lol

AMD haven't released a "gaming" centered desktop cpu since 2011, therefore people have only used intel after that. This changed with the new ryzen cpus, and you will be MUCH better off with a ryzen cpu for your coding and stuff since they have a 4 core/ 8thread CPU at close to the same price as the 2 core/ 4thread i3 you were looking at.

Bias. Also thunderbolt. Bottom line it doesn't matter. Right now the 1600 is the best bang for the buck around your price range.
