Hey guys,

I recently started to follow Linus on youtube and I must say he seems like a smart guy, so I trust you guys are the same.

Now I want to build a sweet PC for 1080p gaming (for now) and probably i will try to play with overclocking (probably from a software that my mobo will come with)

I thought of going for:

- i5-7600K

- MSI Z270 Gaming M3 mobo.

- Im not sure what GPu to go for yet but probably a gtx 1070 (Palit seems very intresting).

-16 gb of ram 3000mhz

Now i have no idea for what kind of cooler to go for, air or water. Psu should probably be around 550w, but i have no idea what brand to go for.

I would be very pleased if any of you guys could give my any suggestions or some constructive critique. Im new to this stuff. Also if you know any TRUSTED place i can chill and read about different brands and generally PC building I would highly appriciate it too! :)

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

You don't really want to look at brand so much as tier in psu's. Air is fine for a 7600k or 1600. I would only get an aio for a 7700k.

Unsure what power supply to pick?

Check out my HTPC build.

Quote me/others so we can help you
