Hi everyone,

I've been seeing great mouse recommendation threads around here but I never see any that help me. The peripherals you guys post are great, but there's one problem:

My thumbs are clubbed. They look like your big toe -- twice the width of a normal finger. Thankfully, they developed with normal nails and look relatively normal unless you stare at them.. then I poke you.

Suffice to say, and as per the title, I can't have any side buttons. My thumb usually encompass the entire left side of the mouse, or just enough to press whatever button is there.

I've been surviving off of a cheap dollar store mouse here and there until it breaks from my fingers.. and now my mouse is double clicking from one click.

What do you guys think?

The Deathadder from Raser is pretty large, it does have side buttons (thought they are pretty hard to press by accident). its great mouse.
I have a pretty big hand too, and I use the G502 Proteus Core from Logitech. I never had problems with it and the buttons can be deactivated anyways through software. (or you can just remove them XD)

edit : considering you're in canada, go to Staples, they usually have 1 or both on display for you to try.
or maybe Best buy.
(don't buy from them tho, go online after you tried and order it. its usually cheaper)

If you don't need to have a regular mouse, would a trackball like this one do? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002OOWB3O/ref=s9_acsd_top_hd_bw_bisF_c_x_2_w/143-3643425-3222033

Otherwise I would just say any 3-button mouse would work. Unless you're doing some hyper competitive CS:GO, I wouldn't really worry about getting a mouse with a billion DPI and a polling rate faster than an Intel's 8086 speed.

Any large gaming mouse should work. Maybe a Corsair M65, disable the two side buttons? You might still be able to use the large red Sniper button. Or a Logitech G403, very comfortable and quite large.

Holy moly you can remove buttons on it? Doesn't leave a giant hole, I'm sure..

I'm definitely going to be looking these up and seeing which one'll suit me the most, I just didn't know the names of what would fit. Thanks, everyone.

Well, the logitech g900 is what I have. Probs one of the best you can get. And for your case, the mouse is ambidextrous. This means you can swap the two thumb buttons to any side you want, or remove them entirely and put the rubber covers over the button holes.

I think disabling mouse buttons depends on if the mouse has software that comes with it to do so. I don't think it's something you can do with any mouse.
