Get a used 980 Ti? If you don't want to do that, get a second 970, it will give you better performance than an RX 580.

Yeah @Mr.Meerkat was able to find a 980 Ti for 270 pounds :D

Thought about the second 970 but not really a fan of sli/crossfire

 

980ti its an upgrade but compared to the cards now not that amazing

 

and its not that I dont want to save up its just I was seeing if it was worth the upgrade for the new mid cards as I just want a nice card that has more than 4gb

RX 580 is an improvement from 970, but will not be a big "jump" so don't expect anything significant (some games see 10-15% improvement).

 

Spending that kind of money to get that kind of performance is not worth it; if you want to upgrade, go for something that can last a bit longer.
