GTA5 low fps

Hello LTT:

 

CPU: i5 4690

GPU: gtx 1060 6 GB

Monitor: 1080p 60Hz

 

GTA 5 start to lag very hard. averaging at 50fps. very high settings with a few options turned down a bit.

Using MSI afterburner, got 70-80% GPU usage and 80-90% CPU usage.

Is there a bottle neck or wuts going on?

usually but not in your scenario, your cpu is not vary powerful.

I did checked for update for my Geforce experience. I will double check again tonight.

What do you mean not in my scenario? GTA5 should be CPU intensive, so if my CPU is not very powerful, then there should be a bottleneck? But It did show its only using 90% peak, not 100% of my CPU.

i know that's why i said there should be, what settings are you playing at?

Show screen shots of your settings so we can see the exact settings(seen as though there are so many in gta)

GPU should be at around 55-60 degree, not sure abt CPU, didnt pay attention to it. But I didnt hear crazy fan noises, so I think temp should be fine.
