the 6600 should work well with it but it won't hurt to go with the 6700 if you can afford it.

Well, on metro i get above 100fps so no problem there but on the big maps like kharg and caspian border, it sometimes drops below 60 fps

Get a 6700 or don't upgrade, the 6600 is a minor change

According to his motherboards CPU QVL the 6700 is only marginally better than the 6600 but cost ~$80 more. He's better off with the 6600 if he really wants a new CPU,

What is GPU usage in BF1?

If it's still in the 90's, then no need to upgrade.

No, the issue OP is having is a lack of threads.  The big maps love i7's and the 6600 will still have issues, again because it only has 4c/4t

A QVL doesn't show performance

Also a 6700 is WAY better than a 6600
