Does anybody know where I can get a GeForce 4 Ti 4600? I can even settle for a 4400. It needs to be those two GPUs though. Looking for them to be somewhat cheap.

CPU: Intel Core i5 2400 GPU: MSi GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC RAM: 14GB DDR3 (3x2GB, 1x8GB) Mobo: Acer MB.GAU07.001 Case: Gateway DX4860 PSU: EVGA 600W Bronze Plus

Why does it need to be those? So damn old. Good luck finding them, if you do, it will likely be gouged and will cost much more than they are worth.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Old times sake, really. Used to drool over those back in the day. Finally went through some of my old books and remembered them.

Well shit... All I really want to do at this point is play a 17 year old game. Never knew finding 20 year old PC parts would be this difficult.

If you want the card for nostalgia, that's fine.

but an integrated GPU is a Kajilion times better than that... thing.

Geforce 4 Ti was pretty high end back then.

I used Geforce 2 MX with 32MB VRAM and I spent all my money I got from Lunar New Year on it...

Nostalgia for the GF4 Ti  cards is great but the reality is much less impressive. being only DX8.1 at a time when dx9 games where well into development & release schedules where being set. The Ti4600 had an extremely short life span until the 9700/9500 pro card launched only 6 months later with full dx9 support and much more performance. Even the 9500 pro at half the cost of the 4600 out performed it.

If you want the best dx8.1 card to play games upto 2002 its ok.  but anything newer including source engine games you will seriously struggle.

I managed to picked up my Asus V8460 Deluxe brand new sealed in box off ebay for $60AUD.

Don't pay this kind of money.
