RAM question

Hey! So I'm still in the process of getting my new build together and deciding which parts are best. Now, because of AMD Ryzen's somewhat picky ram performance. I was wondering about which RAM would be better.

 

So I'm currently looking at:

 

G.Skill Flare X 16GB 2400MHZ.

Corsair Vegean LPX 16GB 3000MHZ

(2X8GB) 

 

Follow up question: Will both of these RAM kits be able to reach the intended frequencies on the ASUS B350 Prime Plus?

Flare X runs at rated speeds fine, as it is 2400Mhz

 

But LPX doesn't run at rated, it runs at 2933 - and you'll need to put some elbow grease into it to get it working until the Hynix patch comes out later this mont

Ok. Would you recommend going with the Corsair because of the faster speed, despite not yet going at rated?

The reason is because even if the LPX runs slower than it's rated speed, it's still gonna be faster than the rated speed of the Flare X, so it's worth going for.
