Need help choosing a GTX 1080 Ti

I've been thinking about the MSI/Corsair Seahawk X and the Asus Strix 1080 Tis.

 

Which do you guys think would have more OC capability? (even though the 1080 Tis are really similar in terms of that)

up to your preference really... personally, I'd go with EVGA FTW3's or the ASUS STRIX

Neither, Pascal OCs mostly depend on the quality of your chip and aren't really affected by the board design. However, I would recommend an EVGA FTW3 or an AORUS Extreme Edition

Silicon Lottery is a bitch. And Nvidia cards do not have good overclockablity because they all OC around the same. So the thing is buy which ever you want but blower cards

I always go EVGA for that warranty.  Generally reference because of waterblock availability but I'd try and get a good aftermarket cooler if I was going to stay on air

So basically, the AIO one would just stay cooler than the Strix under full load. I could use one of my 3 120mm fan slots at the front of my case so at least that's not a problem.

Take a look at the 1080 Ti AORUS Extreme Edition, it is one of the best :D

Biggest thing for me is they are transferable.  I bought a 1080Ti used and still have a 3 year warranty with EVGA like I bought it new.  Also they don't care if you remove the cooler for waterblock install and they're generally known for having really good customer service.

Okay, that is pretty freaking great. I always love companies with good customer support, as in this day and age not all comps provide that.

Again, the standard FE Pascal cards already have super overbuilt power delivery so anything on top of that is already wasted cash such as an EVGA Classy

Shipping from the US to Finland just incurs so many taxes and stuff so I just don't have money for now at least, as my budget is hard capped at 960 eur. (The FTW3 is like 890 and the STRIX OC I can find for 915)
