So I'm looking at buying a new laptop before next school year for college, and I was looking at the blade as one of my options, when is the next blade coming out? I don't want to buy one now and then in a month or 2 the new model comes out.

My other question is the QHD worth it? It's a pretty huge price jump and its already expensive as it is.

And lastly, can you turn the razer logo light on the back off?

From what I've heard, Razer Blades have thermal throttling issues. I'd go for an HP Spectre x360 or a high end Lenovo Yoga Pro instead. And QHD is worth it if you can afford it, as sharp screens are awesome! (I've got an iPad Pro 12.9", and the display is as good or better than the latest MacBook Pros)

I'd put Dell's Inspiron 15 7567 if you're not after styling or the "Macbook" look all that much. They added an IPS panel option now, fixing the one deal breaker I had with it.

I really want the 1060 tho, and right now this is the only laptop that has a 1060 and looks good, I will just throw a dbrand skin on it and it looks like a black macbook lol, the dell xps 15 is another choice because it looks professional and that amazing screen but it only has a 1050
