Mouse stutter with OC'd non-native refresh rates

Hello :) I've been having problems with over clocking my BenQ monitor (Nvidia Card).  In Nvidia control panel I'm able to increase my refresh rate from 60-74 at its cap.  However at anything above 60 I experience odd mouse stutter, at 70fps the stutter is consistent, and at 74pfs it could be described better as hitching (more occasional stutter).

 

If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

Thanks for your reply!  It would be strange if it was an unstable OC, at least I would think so given that even and OC of 61 results in the same issue.  Unless I'm missing something
